Bio

I am a lifetime resident of Tulsa who is committed to the sustained growth and future of our city. I was recently selected as one of Oklahoma Magazine’s “Top 40 Under 40″ in the State of Oklahoma for my leadership in community and business.

“My priorities are strengthening Tulsa’s economy, supporting our schools and fighting to get House District 66’s fair share,” said Williams. “I’ll stand up to the career politicians in Oklahoma City to bring ethical, common sense solutions to the challenges our district faces.”

As a small businessman in the energy field, a sector critical to Tulsa’s economy, I understand the importance of government working with responsible businesses to create jobs and build our tax base.

I have a strong background in business, and have previously managed annual budgets of over $100 million. My past duties have included commercial and operational oversight of one of the largest natural gas pipeline companies in Oklahoma. Conscious of the fact that the energy decisions we make today will affect future generations, I also have a professional background in and a passion for environmental health and safety. I hold a bachelor’s degree of Science in Agriculture and Natural Resources with an emphasis on environmental science.

I have served as a partner/supporter of the Special Olympics within the Tulsa community for over 15 years. I am also a past board of director’s president of Health Outreach Prevention Education (HOPE).

I have experience in dealing with statewide legal and environmental issues and understand how to lead our community through transitions to new sustainable practices making our city and state leaders in developing new energy alternatives.

I have served as the Second Vice President of the Natural Gas and Energy Association of Oklahoma. I have served as a leader and liaison to natural gas professionals to improve environmental practices. In addition, I help to educate children in Oklahoma about oil field safety as a Petro-Pro for the Oklahoma Energy Resource Board (OERB).
